The Observatory of Indicators of the City of São Paulo - ObservaSampa - is an online platform that gathers indicators capable of measuring the quality of life of São Paulo residents, access to equipment, as well as PMSP performance indicators. It also has a space for publishing studies and research and popular participation in the debate on the indicators themselves.

The Observatório das Metrópoles is a group that works in a network, bringing together institutions and researchers from the university, government and non-government fields. The team set up at the Observatory has been working for 20 years, currently involving around 100 researchers and 60 institutions in a systematic and articulated way on the metropolitan challenges posed to national development, having as reference the understanding of the changes in the relations between society, economy, State and the territories formed by the great Brazilian urban agglomerations.
